About Me
A PASSION FOR JOURNALISM
I am a Michigan-based graduate student studying Journalism at Michigan State University. Throughout my life, I have always found myself drawn to the world of news and reporting, and finally have decided to make a career out of this passion.

Originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and an Indigenous women, I have seen firsthand how these small tribal communities can be misrepresented, or unrepresented, in the media. This has motivated me to pursue a career to help change this ongoing misrepresentation and tell stories of underrepresented communities in a thoughtful and respectful way.
